Adobe Photoshop Updated With AI Assistant; Firefly Image Gets New Editor Features
Adobe has started rolling out the public beta version of the AI assistant feature in Photoshop, the San Jose-based tech firm announced on Tuesday. The company said that users will now be able to edit images with the help of text-based prompts. For example, users can ask the AI assistant to remove distractions, change the background, adjust colours, and refine the lighting of an image using prompts. First announced in October 2025, during the company’s annual creativity conference Adobe Max 2025, the feature is available as a beta in the Photoshop web and mobile app versions.
