Amazon Joins Google and Microsoft With a Massive $35 Billion Bet on India’s AI Growth
Amazon will invest more than $35 billion in India by 2030, focusing on AI adoption, exports and job creation. The company says the plan will help 15 million small businesses use AI tools, boost India’s ecommerce exports to $80 billion and support 3.8 million jobs. Amazon will also expand fulfilment and data centre infrastructure and offer AI education to four million students, strengthening its long-term presence in the country.
