Amazon's Alexa+ AI Scene Search Feature Rolls Out to Prime Video on Fire TV: Here's How It Works
Amazon has launched an Alexa+ feature for Fire TV that lets viewers jump to specific scenes in Prime Video movies by describing them aloud. The tool uses natural language understanding, metadata from Prime Video’s X-Ray, and AI models such as Amazon Nova and Anthropic Claude to identify and play exact moments. It supports thousands of movies and works with Prime titles as well as purchased or rented films. Alexa+ also offers additional viewing tools, including actor details, soundtrack information, and live sports updates.
