AWS Unveils Frontier AI Agents for Enterprises, Can Operate for Days Without Intervention
AWS has introduced a new class of autonomous “frontier agents” aimed at software teams, including a coding assistant named Kiro, a security agent and a DevOps agent. Designed to pursue goals rather than single tasks, these agents can work independently, handle multi-step workflows and scale across complex projects. AWS says the technology could eventually expand beyond development to other enterprise functions.
