Coinbase Reopens Registrations in India, Plans Fiat On-Ramp in 2026
Coinbase has reopened user sign-ups in India after almost two years, confirming its return during India Blockchain Week 2025. The exchange said Indian users can once again register and trade crypto, and it plans to introduce a fiat on-ramp in 2026. Coinbase had previously paused operations due to UPI restrictions and compliance issues. Its renewed efforts follow FIU registration earlier this year, signalling a long-term commitment to the Indian market.
