Fortnite Returns to Google Play Store After Extended Legal Battle
Fortnite has returned to the Google Play Store in the US, Epic Games announced on Friday. This marks the culmination of a five-year legal battle, which began in 2020, when Epic Games filed a lawsuit against Apple and Google for their allegedly unfair and anti-competitive platform rules. While the multiplayer game returned to the App Store in May, Google's pending appeal against the 2023 judgement led to its delayed return to the Play Store.
