Google’s Job Listing Confirms AI-Powered Aluminium OS Project For PCs, Tablets
Google has confirmed that it is working on a new operating system (OS), dubbed Aluminium OS (ALOS), for PCs, according to a job listing posted on LinkedIn. The company is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager who will oversee the workings of a team responsible for building ALOS for PCs. The tech giant also plans to phase out ChromeOS eventually, while offering ALOS for business devices. Moreover, the upcoming ALOS will be AI-centric, combining Android and ChromeOS functionalities.
