Japanese Stocks Hit 5-Mo. High

Asia-Pacific markets traded mixed Thursday, as investors continued to weigh the ongoing ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 popped 642.51 points, or 1.7%, to 39,584.50, closing at a five-month high since the end of January.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng sagged 149.27 points, or 0.6%, to 24,235.40.

In Shanghai, the CSI 300 dropped 14.05 points, or 0.4%, to 3,946.02
In Korea, the Kospi index subtracted 28.69 points, or 0.9%, to 3,079.56.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index hiked 61.73 points, or 0.3%, to 22,492.34.
In Singapore, the Straits Times index moved upward 12.48 points, or 0.3%, to 3,938.46.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 gained 19.08 points, or 0.2%, to 12,480.05.
In Australia, the ASX 200 backpedaled 8.44 points, or 0.1%, to 8,550.75.
