OnePlus 15 Display Resolution Downgrade Confirmed, Company Explains Technological Limitations
OnePlus 15, which is scheduled to launch in China on October 27 as the successor to last year's OnePlus 13, is confirmed to sport a third-generation BOE Flexible Oriental OLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to a 165Hz refresh rate. Its predecessor, however, sports a 2K resolution screen. While the reason behind the move was previously unknown, a company executive has published an explanation on Weibo to highlight why the decision was taken.
