Online Gaming Bill 2025: Real Money Gaming Platforms Reportedly Shut Down Operations
Dream11 is reportedly shutting down its real-money gaming operations in India as the Parliament passes the new Online Gaming Bill, 2025. The new law seeks to regulate how online games, which involve real money, function in India. It seeks to ban advertisements of real-money games (RMG) while creating a regulatory framework for e-sports in India. Additionally, Zupee, the online RMG Ludo app, is no longer available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
