Perplexity Partners With Snapchat to Power the AI Search Experience in the App
Perplexity and Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, announced a partnership on Wednesday to integrate Perplexity’s AI-powered answer engine within the social media app. The chatbot will soon be available alongside My AI, allowing users to ask questions and explore topics directly in Snapchat. As part of the deal, Perplexity will pay Snap $400 million over one year in cash and equity, with rollout expected in early 2026.
