Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Could Feature 2nm Exynos Chip as Firm Prioritises Closing Gap With TSMC: Report
Samsung may bring Exynos back to its top-tier lineup with the Galaxy S27 Ultra, as its 2nm yields are expected to improve significantly by 2027. A report claims better production efficiency and higher capacity could finally make Exynos chips suitable for the Ultra model. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, however, is expected to be powered solely by Snapdragon chips, due to current low yields of 2nm chips and a performance gap. As yields rise, Samsung may aim to reduce reliance on Qualcomm and strengthen its flagship chip strategy.
