Samsung Galaxy Smartphones Get Inactivity Restart Security Feature With Latest Update: Report
Samsung has reportedly introduced an Inactivity restart security feature for Galaxy smartphones that automatically reboots a device if it stays locked for 72 hours. The option is available under Security and Privacy settings and places the phone in a restricted state after restarting until it is unlocked. The feature is intended to protect user data if a device is lost or stolen. It has been spotted on some Galaxy S25 units and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but not yet on the Galaxy S26 series.
