Samsung Galaxy Smartphones Targeted By Spyware Landfall for Over a Year
Samsung Galaxy smartphones were reportedly exposed to a spyware campaign called Landfall for over a year. The malware spread through infected image files shared on social media, exploiting a zero-day flaw in Samsung’s image-processing library. Targeting Galaxy S22, S23, S24, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 models, it allowed attackers to steal data. Samsung patched the vulnerability in April 2025.
