Samsung Will Reportedly Produce 1 Million Galaxy Wide Fold Units to Compete With Apple's Foldable iPhone
Samsung is reportedly planning a major push into wider-screen foldables with the upcoming Galaxy Wide Fold. According to a new report, the South Korean tech giant is targeting an initial production run of around 1 million units, its largest for a special foldable model so far. The device is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 in Q3. Leaks suggest a 7.6-inch 4:3 foldable display, a 5.4-inch cover screen, and a book-style design aimed at competing with Apple’s first foldable iPhone.
