Spotify Launches New Premium Plans in India; Adds AI Audiobook Recap Feature
Spotify has introduced new Premium plans in India, bringing the total number of subscription tiers to four. The most expensive out of the four is the Spotify Premium Platinum plan, which offers AI DJ, AI Playlist Creation, Lossless Audio Quality, and playlist mix features. However, all paid plans in India provide ad-free music and audiobook streaming. Separately, the company has launched its new AI-generated summaries feature for audiobooks, dubbed Audiobooks Recaps. It is currently in the beta phase and is only available for select English audiobooks on iOS.
