Windows 11 May Add Haptic Feedback for Trackpads, Reportedly Spotted in Latest Build
Microsoft appears to be testing haptic feedback for Windows 11, as discovered in preview build 26220.7070. A hidden “Haptic signals” option was found with controls for vibration strength. The feature is expected to work on laptops with haptic trackpads, such as the Microsoft Surface 7 and Surface Studio 2, providing subtle feedback during actions like snapping windows or dragging files. Though not yet active, this feature could make Windows 11 more tactile and responsive when it rolls out to supported devices.
