Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the Mix 5 as the next experimental phone in its Mix lineup, with leaks suggesting a debut ahead of Apple’s iPhone 18 series. Tipsters claim the device could feature a quad-curved display, an under-display selfie camera, and possibly under-display 3D face unlock. If confirmed, the latter feature would be a first for mass-market smartphones. The phone may launch at Lei Jun’s annual keynote, marking a revival of the Mix series after 2021’s Mix 4.
