Apple’s iOS 26.3 RC Update Reportedly Contains References to Anticipated M5 Max, M5 Ultra Chips
Apple released the release candidate (RC) versions of the upcoming iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 updates recently. It is said to include references to a pair of unreleased chips that are in the M5 family. It reportedly contains mentions of the M5 Max chip. The code also references what appears to be the M5 Ultra, and it could be used in the Mac Studio. Apple is expected to launch upgraded MacBook Pro models with new chips later this month or next month.
