Bakkt Acquires DTR to Build Stablecoin Settlement Layer
Bakkt has completed its acquisition of Distributed Technologies Research to support its plans for a digital settlement layer. The deal combines Bakkt’s institutional infrastructure with DTR’s stablecoin technology and payments engine for round-the-clock settlement services.
