Garmin Introduces WhatsApp App for Select Fenix, Forerunner, Venu Series Smartwatches
Garmin has introduced WhatsApp support on select smartwatches through a new app available on the Connect IQ Store. The feature works on models across the Fenix, Forerunner, Venu, and Vívoactive series and requires a paired smartphone. Users can read and reply to messages, view recent chats, and decline calls from the watch. The app supports up to 10 conversation threads and offers media previews, but not media sharing. WhatsApp remains end-to-end encrypted, and the feature is limited to personal accounts.
