OpenAI has rolled out a new personalisation feature for ChatGPT called Characteristics. It lets users fine-tune traits like warmth, enthusiasm, use of lists, and emojis without affecting the chatbot’s core abilities. The controls sit alongside existing personality presets, giving users more say in how ChatGPT sounds during everyday conversations.
