Samsung Hits Record Revenue in Q1 This Year, Expects Memory Shortage to Last Beyond 2027
Samsung Electronics reported consolidated revenue of KRW 133.9 trillion for the first quarter ending March 31, 2026, marking a 43 percent increase compared to the previous quarter. The South Korean brand has posted record operating profit, and its MX and Networks Businesses posted KRW 38.1 trillion in consolidated revenue. However, earnings from the foundry business declined in the same period. The company expects the memory crunch to become even more severe in the coming months.
